    Brand Identity

    The focus of this section of the guide will be branding.

    The logo, color palette, typography, and terminology will be discussed. At the end, a brief overview will be given on the dos and don’ts of using the mentioned elements.

    Whether in company communication or visual identity, it is very important that content remains consistent and on brand. The goal is to clearly lead our audience to recognize, remember, and connect to what BOLD represents.

    The BOLD Logo

    Standard Blue

    This is the general BOLD Payments logo. It should be consistent and used to support the brand as much as possible.

    Alternate Grey

    If the BOLD Standard Blue is not an option, you may also prefer to use BOLD’s Alternate Grey Logo.

    White Logo

    For instances where a light logo is needed for a dark background, a BOLD White Logo can also be used..

    If Avenir Pro is not available, Proxmina Nova is a common font a ndcan be used as an alternative.

    Name BOLD

    The “BOLD” name offers a wide array of versatility. To place more emphasis on the BOLD name and remain consistent, please remember to use all CAPS and bold font when possible. 

    Web and Social Media

    Voice/Tone

    Tied with the BOLD Core Values, the voice used to represent the business should reflect the following:

    5. Accurate

    The BOLD tone remains captivating, casual, and creative. Blog posts may require more expert critique, while social profiles are jovial and interactive.

    Dos

    • Stay on brand.
    • Use proper grammar and capitalization.
    • Professionally represent the purpose, style, and tone of the content being shared.
    • Leave at least one hour in between posts.
    • Frequently interact and engage wit shared
      content, whether that be a blog or social
      media post, and other users on said
      platforms.
    • Reference BOLD Payments accounts social
      media accounts or website whenever
      possible.

    Don’ts

    • Use a grainy image or logo to represent the
      company.
    • Use excessive lettering or communication
      that may be perceived as spam.
    • Post content back to back.
    • Ignore comments, requests, or questions
      concerning a social media post, blog, or
      email.
    • Add lters, borders, vignettes, textures, or
      additional text to premade BOLD Payments
      creative content.
    • Use irrelevant hashtags.

    Acknowledging Holidays and Periods of Observance 

    Due to the diversity of our clientele, staff, and social media followers, BOLD Integrated Payments remains a neutral stance on holidays, observances, political and social movements. Therefore, BOLD limits social media posts and email marketing to recognizing the federal holidays we officially celebrate. While we understand the importance of recognition for many groups and public figures, BOLD limits outbound campaigns and responses to the following federal holidays:
